Shortly after my seizures began. I was brought into the ER on my LAST visit to this "hospital" by EMS which despite all of my medical conditions had never been taken by ambulance before. After having suddenly lost the ability to speak coherently {I was fully aware and able to understand just not respond), vision so blurry I could not tell where walls where, the inability to walk etc. Luckily my boss was there to communicate to EMS my information, prescription list and symptoms causing her to call. It was clearly stated to ER staff the reason I was brought in by EMS.When the doctor finally came in he asked me questions and I was unable to speak clearly enough for him to understand me. He then looked at me and said "M'am if you cant answer my questions I CANT HELP YOU" and he left the room. After a brain scan luckily nothing was, according to him, wrong with me and I was sent home. 2 days later the same thing occurred and again was taken by ambulance but I refused to let them take me to this "hospital". I am glad that I didn't because the real hospital I went to was able to be kind, understanding and help me.
My sister went there a little over,16 year's ago she was having headache' s for weeks we finally got the doctor to do a mri after having to plead and beg and argue with them then the doctor came out and said everything looks good s he said she's just having migraines. SO we went home a few days later another doctor called said get her back up here for a emergency mri. She had a brain tumor 16 year's later took her to there again though she was having seizures they told us she was fakeing it took her on to Vanderbilt they did a mri the tumor was active again so Crockett sucks all they care about is money
I will die before I go back to these uncaring, rude, condescending and arrogant doctors at this "hospital". The other staff, nurses and techs etc we always very kind and I appreciated their care. It appears to be a problem with the ER doctors themselves. I am not saying all of them are like this but probably 9 out of 10 of them over the years have just been AWFUL. After the incident with the doctor walking out of the room so rudely I vowed NEVER to return I have said this to others before but after the last incident , no matter how terrible the pain or problem I will suck it up and wait to get to a real hospital.
Have always had a great experience at the Women's Health Clinic. Love the providers there and the entire staff over at that building is awesome. Can't speak for the rest of the hospital as I've never had any experience with it.
I would give negative stars but no luck on this page. I would NEVER suggest to anyone that they go to this "hospital".
I have also had debilitating migraines for the last 30 years and am on an extreme regular regime of medicines to treat them. When none of my PRN prescriptions work, I HAVE to resort to an Emergency Room to receive an IV infusion of a particular medicine (non-narcotic) to abort the migraine. The ER doctors at this hospital (this has happened at this hospital for almost 20 years now) I went in requesting the drug (again of no narcotic value) and was refused it. I was NOT asking for ANY kind of pain medicine. I would then have to call my neurologist and ask him to call the ER and speak to the doctor on duty. That usually worked, however to stop having to call my neurologist to request it he actually wrote me a letter to carry with me to request the specific medicine and contact him if they had any questions. Last time I went in for a migraine, to this hospital, it again was the same old story from the ER doc and I presented him with the letter upon arrival. He then told me he had never heard of using that for migraines. I explained that I have dealt with this for years and this is the only thing that will abort one of my migraines that are this extreme. He then claimed they did not have it in the hospital however, my primary care doctor happens to be affiliated. I had expressed to him before this visit that they claimed not to have it. He assured me that he would make sure that is was in their pharmacy. When I then had to have my neurologist AND primary care doctors call the ER, it magically appeared. So after being treated as though I was a narcotic seeking, letter forgering, liar who had NOT been in for this same issue before I was in excruciating pain for much longer than necessary.
As a side note, I am the daughter of an Emergency Room R.N. she has worked in Level I-V ERs for more than 30 years. I have been raised to know what an ER is for, to respect doctors, even she has told me never to go this ER.
I have a couple of chronic (medically PROVEN) conditions, which I carry that information on me at all times. I also have chronic debilitating migraines and began having seizures a couple of years ago.
Jasbir Dhillon is a sorry excuse for a "Dr." He is horrible man with zero bed side manner who doesn't care if you live or die. There is a special place in hell for people like him. He obviously recieved his phd in whatever third world country he came from. Do not go here. They will not help or treat you. You will be mistreated and abused. As stated in other reviews. They kill people here. I also would not take a dying dog there. *pease note: the only good reviews are posted by employees.
My father passed away this past February. He was a patient here and was marked as a fall risk. On the day of his discharge he fell and hit his head. They were more concerned with his discharge rather than the fall. They did not do a scan to see if he had done any damage, just sent him on his way. Even though my brother and sister in law asked for a scan. It's because of this, he's gone. I would never refer anyone to this facility.
