The food was excellent at this location! our server suggest several items and everything was delicious from the queso dip to the prime rib. the service was fast, everyone was friendly, and the food was great. our server Amber was amazing and very attentive. we will be definitely be coming back!

I'm very disappointed with our visit to Brass Lantern. My family and i went in for the salad bar. The salad bar wasn't bad, but several items were not restocked while we were there. The waitress had the same facial expression the whole time (despite us trying to be friendly). She then charged us $6 for the shredded cheese and raisins my TWO year old barely nibbled on. He did not even get a drink. She said all children under 12 are charged this. I have never been to a salad bar/ buffet were two and under are charged. Next time my family and I will take that $50 and make our own salad at home...

Food! Great! Reasonable prices, comfy atmosphere and friendly service. A must go-to place! Reservations recommended.

We have been going to this place 20 years and this was the first time I have been disappointed. The lunch menu seemed ok but the food served was not. Okra was old and dry, dry beans were thick and metal canned tasting, gravy was as thick as the mashed potatoes, and the country fried steak was pressed meat. Small chicken fingers. Disappointed. When i spoke with the waitress she immediately ordered more okra. No better so she removed from ticket and apologized saying they had changed supplier s and we're getting lots of complaints. We drive 125 miles to eat at this place and I am questioning if I will do it again. Legends is a chain store in Tennessee and we wonder if all of them are going downhill.

This has become my husband's and my go-to place for a guaranteed great meal! They have a terrific menu with lots of options but not so many choices that it overwhelms a diner. During the week, they have outstanding daily lunch specials that are guaranteed to be ready in minutes with expanded options if you're not in a rush. On the weekend they highlight two items that truly set them apart from other places...my husband's favorite is the huge sirloin burgers for pocket change on Saturdays but I love the Sunday special of cornbread dressing & sweet potato casserole. It's the only dressing that comes close to what I make on Thanksgiving! We're lucky to live literally a mile down the road but we'd gladly take a drive to get there if we had to!
